Occupy Wall Street has just begun its second round. People are standing on wall street, protesting against the banks. One protester said, "We gave the banks the power to create money because they promised to use it to help us live healthier and more prosperous lives—not to turn us into frightened peons. They broke that promise. We are under no moral obligation to keep our promises to liars and thieves. In fact, we are morally obligated to find a way to stop this system rather than continuing to perpetuate it."
I think that what these people are doing isn't going to help solve our problems. It didn't last year, and I don't think it will this year. They are only making the government and banks more angry. Im sure that these protests are doing something, but I don't think them standing out there yelling is going to change anything. I do think that we do have the right to try and stop, or help out the system.
